"Fearing a new Vietnam in Nicaragua" was not what it was about. More aptly, the Reagan Administration feared a new Cuba. Now Ronald Reagan is long gone and get this: "(Reuters) - Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, a socialist former guerrilla leader, cruised to a landslide re-election victory after drawing broad support for his anti-poverty programs."
