I
send down in charge of Lieut. J. E. Bauer, Adj. of my Regiment, the following
prisoners.
Mrs.
Johnston, living in the neighborhood of Eureka, was arrested this morning by
Lieut. George Hussmann, in obedience to your Order, for disloyalty. You will
please find enclosed charges against her, made out by Lieut. George Hussmann.
Patrick
Reynolds lives in the neighborhood of Eureka, refused to be enrolled in the
Militia, says if he has to fight at all, he will fight for the South.
